Striping the corroded plating off the cabin port lights
Instead of having the deck hardware replated, I used abrasion techniques to remove the plating to reveal the solid bronze frames. Also, the front hatch hinges.

Old prop shaft, bearing and stuffing box
Another project was to replace the prop shaft with stainless steel, install a new bearing, and a new dripless shaft seal.
