Good news. We've got the good news that you've been waiting for. "GoodNews@gospelrock" is the title of this year's vacation Bible school.

  • Where: Old South United Methodist Church, 6 Salem Street, Reading, MA 01867
  • When: August 2-6, 1999 from 9:00am to 12 noon
  • Ages Groups: children 3 and 4 years old, children beginring and finishing Kindergarten, and children completing 1st and 2nd grade

    • The directors of the school, Lori Vinciguerra and Liz Read, said participants will hear the good news that Jesus calls us, Jesus loves us, Jesus wants us to feed his sheep, we can praise God, and God loves everyone. The directors want everyone to visit the VBS website listed below.

    Featuring!

    The rock dwelling creatures, Stoney and Pebble Lee, will greet you every morning to welcome you and introduce you to the activities for the day. They will sing and tell stories before dismissing you to your individual classrooms.
    Age appropriate crafts
    Music, Singing, and Dancing
    Snacks that reflect the theme of VBS, such as edible aquariums and pretzel fishing with peanut butter for bait.

  • Register at Old South United Methodist Church the first 2 Sundays in June from 9:30 to 10:30 or from 11:45 to 12:30
  • Cost per child: $10; family maximum (siblings only): $30
