Every now and then, but not that often, I learn something that really changes how I see myself and others. That is the case with my recent familiarity of the Enneagram. The Enneagram is a spiritually based understanding of personality that groups human motivations and patterns into nine personality types. It has helped me to understand myself and others at a deeper level. It has given me an appreciation of my own strengths and more understanding of those who differ from me. It can help all of us at Old South to work more effectively together.
That is why I have made arrangements to bring Herb Pearce, a leading expert in the Enneagram to Old South. Herb will lead us in a Basic Enneagram Workshop on Sunday, October 19, from 2-5 pm. Cost will be $15. Herb Pearce is a therapist specializing in the Enneagram, with over 23 years experience. I have attended some of Herb's workshops and they provide a wealth of understanding and clarity regarding personality differences and his presentation style is direct, but gentle and humorous.
