Regular Taxpayers, Senior Citizens, and others in our town can take advantage of special tax credit, possible tax deferrals, and work programs. Read the following sections for details on each.

Tax reductions already in effect

Senior "Circuit Breaker"

Information on that tax credit, as gathered from the Massachusetts Department of Revenue, is presented here.

Tax Deferral

Also, we've recently discovered another option related to tax deferral. It's listed at the state's Citizen Information Service. It's titled "Property Tax Exemptions and Deferral - For Older Citizens, Surviving Spouses and Minors Under Clauses 41 and 17".

Senior Work Program
