Every year we have Trick or Treaters come to our door, and each year I record the size of each group, and the time of arrival. This has provided an interesting set of data points that are presented in the plots below. I've lost the data from a few of the years (2002,2006).

This first plot shows the total visitors each year starting in 1998. We see a decreasing trend, which may reflect the changing demographics of my neighborhood, however, the recent years are now showing an increase in traffic.

This sequence of small plots shows the individual groups and each vertical red line shows the number of visitors in that group. The horizontal axis is the number of minutes after 5:00PM. We see a trend for later starts, from about 6:30PM in 1998 to almost 7:30PM in 2007.

All these plots were generated with GnuPlot on Windows 7.
